My favourite thing at the beach was always to discover the different creatures and shells. As a child I used to always collect the shells and use them on my sand castles. As an adult I find it harder to find shells on the beach now as the ecosystems have changed or depleted. 
It’s a reminder that we need to give back to the environment and to teach our children to care for our planet & to cherish the beauty of it. 
It’s not just a shell, a shell plays a large role in the  ecosystem in the ocean. It’s a reminder to appreciate beauty and leave it as is. 
I have used vibrant colours to highlight the beauty of the shell and ocean. I have utilised different textures & brush strokes to create a unique art piece.
